Making 2020 a Year to Remember

We first introduced Jon McMahon to you one year ago when he was still a fairly new distributor for NuVinAir in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. region. He had high hopes for the coming year. Read how McMahon has grown his business during the last 12 months using his dedicated work ethic and solution-selling approach:

“These last 12 months have been about establishing trusting relationships, and finetuning the service aspect of NuVinAir across multiple automotive industries. When dealerships and car rental agencies like Enterprise understand that we have a solution to their large and growing problem of marijuana odor, they start to realize that his product and company isn’t like the hundreds that have come before us and made the claims we make, ours actually works!” said McMahon.

“NuVinAir doesn’t have any competitors that stand shoulder-to-shoulder in eliminating odor, eradicating 99.9% of the germs on a car’s interior surfaces, and delivering a safer, healthier, and cleaner car. Our patented technology is the key.”

McMahon says that sales are up 600 percent from 2019 to 2020. He recently made the decision to expand his business into Maryland by purchasing four additional territories in Baltimore. McMahon credits his success to the work ethic his parents instilled in him and to his service in the military.

“My father owned a sport shoes and apparel company that covered a large portion of the East coast and I was always helping him fulfill orders and tracking inventory. My mother simultaneously pushed me to get good grades and compete on multiple sports teams, so I got most of competitiveness through athletics. I got my determination and work ethic from the military, which made me bring my A game every single day and taught me how to push beyond my comfort zone,” he said.

A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, McMahon served as an Officer and pilot for 10 years prior to investing in his NuVinAir business.

McMahon says when he looks back on the last year, he is proud of how NuVinAir DMV stayed focused on its objectives and maintained flexibility in order to navigate Covid-19 issues, and how he has grown his business despite the numerous challenges throughout the year.

“My goal for 2021 is to add five sales and support people to my staff in order to enhance our current accounts, and saturate the Washington D.C. and Baltimore sales markets. NuVinAir DMV is a differentiator and we need as many consumers and customers to experience our products as possible.”

Jon and his wife Michelle live in Leesburg, Va., with their two-year-old son Jack. In his spare time, Jon loves to spend time with his family and play golf.
