As a result of the pandemic, several automotive companies have made offers designed to help affected consumers.
Ford
Ford has developed a new financing program called, “Built to Lend a Hand,” which will provide up to six months of payment relief for anyone who is planning on purchasing a 2019 or 2020 Ford vehicle. Customers must finance their vehicle through Ford Credit and they can qualify to have their first three payments covered by Ford and the subsequent three payments deferred.
General Motors
All GM customers can contact GM Financial to discuss personalized payment options. For customers who are willing to purchase a vehicle now, they will finance a loan at a 0% APR for 84 months. GM has also activated OnStar for all car owners, even if they have not opted into the emergency service feature. The automaker also wants to make sure families and loved ones stay connected by giving complimentary Wi-Fi data for three months. Customers have three gigabytes to use over the time period, free of charge.
BMW
In May, BMW began offering rates as low as 0.9% APR for 60 months plus APR credits worth anywhere from $2,500 to $7,500, depending on the model.
Honda and Acura
Both Honda and Acura continue to offer 90-day payment deferrals on new cars. The automakers are also offering loyalty discounts and bonuses for customers willing to switch brands. Healthcare workers are also eligible for a new incentive worth $500 for Hondas and $750 for Acuras.
Mazda
Mazda is offering 0% APR on every vehicle it offers. They are also offering no payments for 90 days on new and used vehicles purchased through Mazda Financial Services. As an example of the cost savings, a $25,000 car translates to a difference in interest cost of over $1,200 plus a lower payment.
Subaru
Consumers can now find offers of 0% APR for 63 months on the 2020 Ascent, Forester, Impreza, Legacy and Outback. For shoppers looking to buy used cars, Subaru is also offering 0.99% APR for 48 months on certified used vehicles. Before the pandemic, the deal was limited to loans of up to 36 months.
With auto sales plunging beginning in March, dealers lots are flooded with new vehicles but few shoppers. In response, dealerships are offering payment deferrals, zero percent interest and home delivery services. However, as the country recovers from the pandemic, these deals won’t be around forever. Some of the above offers are set to expire in June or early July, so consumers should get in a position now to save thousands of dollars on their next vehicle.
Introducing a New Kind of Clean
To really step up your cleaning regime, it is time to learn about NuVinAir’s patented process and powerful treatments that are powered by chlorine dioxide. These treatments generate a dry, hygienic gas which fills the vehicle’s interior and penetrates deeply into all surfaces. The gas rapidly dissipates after dispersion and, when use directions are followed, allows for the safe and rapid re-entry into a clean, contaminant-free vehicle.
It is important to keep in mind that this pandemic WILL pass, and we will return to normalcy at some point in the future. Until that time, consumers can take advantage of generous offers from many auto manufacturers. But, do not wait too long.
