Father and Son Share Their Secrets to Success

When asked how Tim Haman and his son Zach heard about NuVinAir, they said they were working with a Chicago business consultant who was trying to find the perfect business for Zach to launch his career. They shared they were looking for a business with a unique offering that was affiliated with the automobile industry.  Tim has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years with his brothers, Tom and Pete, and own several successful Culver’s restaurants within the family. But, when looking for a business that Zach Haman could dive into, NuVinAir was the only logical choice.

“Both my son and I have always shared an interest in building street rods and collecting classic cars, so NuVinAir just caught our interest,” Tim said.

“Plus, meeting Kyle Bailey, the CEO, and Alan Brown, NuVinAir’s Global Executive Vice President, we just kind of fed off their energy and passion about the product and the company. We also knew it was a much-needed product in the industry,” Zach added.

In the year and a half they have been establishing their NuVinAir business in Wisconsin, they have built some great relationships.

Building Partnerships

“It’s really all about building relationships and friendships,” Zach said. “At one of the state’s largest dealerships, we have built a great rapport with the used car manager who has, in turn, introduced us to other NuVinAir Support Program opportunities. I’ve learned that if you approach business as a partnership with your customers, it becomes a more personal relationship. When they win, you win,” said Zach.

Keeping it Fun

The Hamans also know how to have fun along the way. So far, they have serviced Lamborghinis, the newest Range Rovers, and limousines. A couple of months ago, they also serviced a tour bus for a band in Dallas.

But, beyond the fun, both Hamans truly believe in what NuVinAir offers to dealerships.

“I view them as having both a new school attitude with traditional views. They emphasize faith, family and values, but they also push each other to be better. It creates a great dynamic you just don’t see very often in a business,“ said Zach.

“Starting a new business with a young company has been challenging and it’s been fun. I’ve learned new things and I’ve learned to adapt. It’s been a great journey so far and I look forward to a future where the possibilities are endless,” said Zach.

Tim Haman agrees. “Zach has definitely learned a lot with NuVinAir. To see him take it and run with it has been definitely fun to watch. He’s learning a lot from the corporate team. They give you a lot of positive energy to work with, there is no doubt about that,” Tim said.
